It all started out with an 8088 (monochrom screen, two 5"1/2 floppy drive, no hard drive) with GWBASIC and I've moved my way through Pascal, Perl, PHP, Java, ... I clearly portrait some of the basic characteristics of a geek, but I don't think I earn that status. At home I'm a Linux user. I've swarmed through Mandrake, Red Hat, SuSE (Novell now) and finally landed with Debian.

I dabble a bit with the Raspberry Pi.

My current favourite is Python 3.

I get money for doing some conputer stuff. Mainly Java and IBM WebSphere Application Server administration and configuration. I like automating stuff, certainly if it involves Python. I also do some Citrix, ElasticSearch, ...
